What is Universal Academy?

Universal Academy, opened in 2013, has two campuses in the city of Milwaukee.  The Millennium Campus is located at 3872 North 8th Street and the Renaissance Campus is located at 6850 North 53rd Street.  But UACB is about much more than buildings.  It’s about a mission.  A mission to make a difference by striving for excellence and settling for nothing less.

UACB will expose students to superb opportunities in the arts and challenging students with advanced curriculum that will meet the unique educational needs of all students (remedial to advanced) in an environment that supports and nurtures their individual gifts and talents. UACB will meet the educational and essential needs of our children and this community. UACB integrates fine arts into our curriculum to help students excel!  See how the power of music, movement and creative expression make learning fun. By infusing the arts into their planning, our teachers  create new and better assignments in every core subject, including math, English language arts, science, social studies and foreign language.

Assignments range from single-lesson activities to longer projects developed over the course of an entire unit of material. UACB teachers also regularly expose students to master works of art and artists to expand students’ knowledge base of different cultures, artistic movements and to increase their overall appreciation for different forms of expression.
